Inheriting Glashütte’s excellent tradition in making hollow watches in Germany, GLASHÜTTE ORIGINAL has created the Senator Manual Winding- Skeletonized Edition watch. The new masterpiece is equipped with its own watchmaking. The 49-18 movement built by the factory combines complex mechanical structures, ingenious carvings and charming details.
The Senator Manual Winding- Skeletonized Edition watch features a matte black Louisiana alligator leather strap, a folding red gold buckle, and is displayed in a carefully polished elegant dark brown wooden case
The elegant hour and minute display is housed in a perfectly decorated 42 mm polished red gold case. The hollow hand-wound movement, which is extremely hand-carved, re-watches the beauty of timepiece art. The masterpiece of this haute horlogerie has a power reserve of 40 hours. Black orbiting minute rings and fine Roman numerals are visible in the silver-plated hollow dial. These decorations make the dial more elegant. The delicate blue steel hour and minute hands indicate the time around the clock. The Senator Manual Winding- Skeletonized Edition has opened up a connoisseur’s appreciation of the watchmaking art of GLASHÜTTE ORIGINAL. The finely carved hollow parts show the essence of its own 49-18 movement. The detailed through-flower carving is protected under a double-sided anti-glare sapphire crystal, and another anti-glare sapphire crystal is placed on the bottom of the watch, allowing wearers to appreciate the delicate details of the inner movement and the beauty of the carving .
The characteristics of GLASHÜTTE ORIGINAL’s watchmaking process are the winding wheel decorated with double sun-scattering patterns, the gold sleeve and the blue steel screws placed therein, the hand-carved plywood, and the beautifully modified gooseneck trimmer. The brand’s exquisite handmade details. The exquisite craftsmanship, the ingenious gold engraved letters and numbers also found on the rhodium-plated movement, contrast sharply.
